Workshops with Neli Andreeva

Bulgarian Voices Berlin is delighted to invite once again the exceptional and internationally renowned singer Neli Andreeva to teach new songs and singing techniques during a two-weekend workshop:

First weekend suitable for all levels:

Date: 10-11. September 2022

Time: 10:00h – 18:00h with 1h break

Venue on 10th: Heckerdamm 226, 13627 Berlin // 1. OG

Venue on 11th: Töplerstr. 5, 13627 Berlin // K-Raum

Second weekend suitable for advanced level singers with previous knowledge to choral singing, trained singers or singers previous experience with Bulgarian folklore (e.g. attended previous workshops with our choir):

Date: 17-18. September 2022

Time: 10:00h – 18:00h with 1h break

Venue: Heckerdamm 226, 13627 Berlin // 1. OG

We use this opportunity to open our doors to those curious about Bulgarian music and with a passion to sing. Join us and explore the power of Bulgarian harmonies alongside choir singers and guests of all levels. You will learn about different bulgarian singing techniques, including how to recreate specific ornaments, and master typical Bulgarian harmonies and rhythm.

There is no commitment to join the choir – you are welcome to simply come along and learn new songs with us on the day.

Price: 50€/day

Price: 80€/weekend (special price if you book for the whole weekend)

Neli will be teaching in Bulgarian and there will be translation into German and/or English depending on the audience.

Tea, coffee and soft drinks will be provided during the day. Feel free to bring a snack or something to share during the lunch break.
